Got my WRX today!

I am so happy, I sold my 240 and bought a black (blueish at night) wrx! Man I can skid through all kinds of corners! The break-in period is going to kill me! The options I got are:

Spoiler
Tinted Windows
Upgraded system w/ sub
Air filter for vents

The car is awesome! Ill post pics tomorrow.

Sounds great that you can enjoy a Wrx. My bro-inlaw just got one w/ the boost gauge on the steering column, spoiler, upgrades suspension, air intake, debri skid plate...All from the factory not too shabby...And last week we slapped a B.o.V and catback exhaust.....Next is his boost controller and other toys.......damn nice car he got a deal w/ the local dealership and got it for $22k......If I told you the whole story you'd be surprised. I think me and my wife are going for one later this year.

That's what it would be with an ITR. &nbsp;With a 240sx it would be like trading a beautiful 18 year old virgin with a rock hard body, long swooping s curves and legs that go all the way up to heaven (enter Jennifer Garner) for Ricky Lake.

I guess I got a bit carried away, but you get the idea.

Congrats on the WR-X. &nbsp;I was going to get one prior to buying my 240 but I couldn't get the deal I wanted (this was when they FIRST came out) and I still can't warm up to the styling. &nbsp;The drive I took in one of them was a hell of a lot of fun..

Well congrats... but honestly... how could you trade in yer 240 for that car? Yeah, it got twin turbo (have a laugh <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>), awd, and it's freakin fast... But hey, the looks of wrx aren't even close to the 240 <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> And I think it's uncomfortable.. I was at the auto show this december, and didn't really fit into any of the subarus... they were all crunched up for me ( well im 6'0'' )... Actually the only cars i liked there were lexus and BMW.... but hey those are freakin expensive <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

LOL! &nbsp;Yeah, I'm 6'2", 220lbs and I fit in fine. &nbsp;Ironically the 240 has less interior room than the WR-X....

And the WR-X obviously is a single turbo on a 2.0 4 cyl boxer engine. &nbsp;That would be awesome though if it were TT.

As for the fat issues.... not really i'm 6'0 and i weigh 180lbs... So you can't call me exactly fat... It just sorta was uncomfortable in there for me. Less comfotable than it is in 240. As for interior.... oh well. I don't like the exterior and that makes it for me.

(Yes, i did throw that one in on purpose. Wondered how many would notice and bitch about it...)

In honesty, for the full story... I'm not into WRXs. I knew it has 227 hp, and a single turbo. But about a month ago, we bought a car for my friend and the guy who was selling it, wanted to buy a new WRX. So he was excited and told me about that, and threw in that it was a TT. I thought well, he must've done a research on it and knew for sure, not that i cared at that moment... So i was posting, and typed that up... But then the wondering came over me, 227 with a TT? So I went to check on it. But while i was checking it out somehting distracted me and i forgot where the fuck i was going. And ofcourse I posted it the way it was. Doh

it's actually very possible to only get 227hp from a twin turbo setup..... running very small turbos <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

i gotta love how a factory turbocharged car is any more easily upgradeable than a car that's turbocharged with a kit.....
yup, it's so much easier to put the exact same components that come in a kit onto a factory car that came turboed.

it'll also depend on where you live, as far as smog goes.

Anyway I hate the looks of the new Imprezas. I love the older ones 9w/o the circle headlights). I would personally love a WRX. If I was rich I would have an S13 with an Sr for summer and spring. And a 2.5RS for winter (gotta love AWD). If I was really rich I would just buy an R33 for winter
