I realize this question has probably been asked a lot , but forgive me! I dont have any clue in which is good for what, so I am asking for your help. If any moderators are reading please dont delet this!
Ok, I am looking for a good set that goes with drifting.
DONT FLAME ME!
I really have no idea but i have a certain degree of knowlegde that you need a softer front and rather stiff rear end. Thank you in advance,
Mike

Well, since it's a double post, I'm sure that one of them will get deleted, but I saw this one first, so I'll post my response here.
First off, it's just typical for the springs in the front to be stiffer, whether for drifting or not.
Ok, now, if you really do want to get serious about drifting, then you are going to need to do a bunch of things. You are going to need Strut Tower Bars, Sway Bars, preferably coilovers over just new springs. You should get Pillowball Tension Rods, new suspension bushings, and the all important new tires/rims. By then you will be pretty much set to go as far as suspension upgrades. I'm sure that there's even more that you could add to this list if you wanted to.
To answer your question more directly, yes, you need to get coilovers, not just springs. There is only so much that just a simple spring upgrade can do to improve your cars handling behavior.
Bah, I got a little mixed up in my first statement.
drifterX87, don't post in both forums, its annoying. This is obviously "chat" material, so why would you post it in tech also? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hmmm.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hmmm:'>
The doctor basically covered it.
If your really serious about drifting go HERE (http://www.turnfast.com/tech_handling/handling.lasso) and learn about handling. That will give you a MUCH better idea of how to go about upgrading your suspension.
Just out of curiosity, how long have you been driving, how long have you been "drifting" and how long have you owned your 240?
