Hello everyone, I am new to this board (and I'm new to 240sx ownership).  I just bought a dirt cheap '89 240sx se hatchback, which is pretty rough.  It needs a new clutch and some other things, and I have about 1400 dollars to spend on upgrades.  I am considering purchasing an SR20DET, which I have found plenty of how-to articles on, but I would be happier with the higher revving iron block CA18DET for its lower price and buildability (is that a word?).  I need to know what motor mounts it takes to drop this engine in, and I need to know what ECU/wiring harness is required to make it work.  If anyone has any links or details or experience with these engines in s13's, please give me some help!  My email is [email protected], my aol handle is aandrave, msn is andrave, yahoo is andrave, icq is 8043354.  Thanks a lot guys!
Andrew

I should use the same mounts as the KA. As for the ECU, use the one that comes with it (ie: buy a whole front clip)
