i'm no wheel guru but i would guess no.
just for comparison:
9+15 on s14 fits
12 +22
compared to the 9+15, the 12+22 will sit closer to the shock by maybe 40mm more; that's almost 2 inches. i'd be very surprised if it fit.

how close, does anyone know a wheel fitment with a specific camber setting that is really close to the shock tower, my current wheels are like a mile away so i cant measure properly.

Yes we all know some... but what do you plan to run? And what are you willing or not willing to do to make wheels fit (camber, roll, pull, stretch, etc)?
I'd say search or make some measurments with your current setup (what is your current setup?).
Rainier is right... a 12" +22mm will not clear... it will be in the middle of your shock body.

hey jay. i love your car. :D
current setup is 18x9.5 -8 so i can like stick my fist in between the shock tower and my wheel, its hard to gauge how much of a spacer ill need to clear it. monster pull overfenders etc etc. are cool with me i dont really care. just trying to figure out if ill need boltons or if i can get away with a plate spacer and some studs.
i know 18x12 -5 clears with some camber on it, but im not sure how much camber and exactly how much clearance there is left. so i guess at worst i can just slap a 1" spacer on there, but id like to get this set up as accurate as possible.

one of the okc guys put 17x10 +35 with 255/40's on the rear of his S13 with no problems. the 12's would be 12mm closer to the shock so i dunno.

cool thats good to know. maybe i can just run a 15mm hubcentric h&r plate. im tired of doing 40 lug nuts every time i need to change wheels.

I forgot to ask if you have a S14 or and S13? Anyways... the fitment is different on both chassis. Just hit me up on AIM if you have anymore questions.
