View Full Version : Does C-West still make the S14 mini spoiler?

Anybody know if C-west still makes its rear mini spoiler for the S14? I ordered one from CIP Motorsports over a year ago, and nada. I also wrote to Rare Trick asking but didn't get an answer. The japanese C-West page doesn't have it on its site anymore as far as I could see. What gives? Would appreciate any help as it takes forever to import stuff down here. Thanks.
Greeting from sunny Mexico!

I couldn't find it on the C-West page either, but Rare Trick still has it listed on their site under S14, so I'd wait for a reply from them. Don't forget it's a holiday weekend (Memorial Day is Monday), so you may not hear from them till mid-week.
You might also check with Josh at AutoRnD. I think they can get C-West, but no products are shown on their site, just the name.

Coincidence, I was wondering the same as I have been looking for this spoiler for the last 2 weeks as well. Any word from Rare trick yet?
who would have thought that Mexico has stricter regulations on emissions then america lol

No word yet from Rare Trick. Jeff at CIPMotorsports says they'll be getting a new spoiler somtime next week but its not C-West. Mexico City has strict regulations because the air here is unbreathable. We're at 2200 meters altitude with 20 million people. Some days are so bad, the sky turns yellow and you can't see further than a couple of hundred meters. Yuck!

get the GP sports one that one is nice.
i like the Cwest too but i dont like the thing they have for the 3rd brake light. i shaved my light so it would look kinda weird to have the groove for it w/o the light

Believe it or not i think the GP one is too big, at least the side pieces are, and it's hella expensive. I like the one piece better, and i still have my brakelight so it's all good.
Then again the c-west one is too expensive for what it is too...

The Ebay M3 lip spoiler looks pretty good for the money and at $50 all day long you can't touch it. Definitely not the same but a great alternative since the others are impossible to get and painful to pay for. Plus there's no drilling for the inexperienced.

Hmm that e-bay M3 one is more up my alley, good find.
You know if it's fiberglass? Could add about 2" length to each side and pretty much have the c-west one right there.

ive resarch the spoiler approx half a year ago back then it was like 70 shipped.
all the spoilers are urethane abs plastic or watever, they do have CF versions of the spoiler.
the spoiler is mainly universal. there are different lengths to the spoiler, and if a car comes close to that length it will be classified under that length.
so say a Benz trunk is approx the same length as the s14, it will say "s14 spoiler" and in another acution it will say "benz spoiler"
to ensure a one tha tyou want with 2" on each side, you must measure the distance across your trunk add 2 to each side and go to an online store selling that length of spoiler
I was in your situation but it was for a front lip spoiler for a jdm kouki front for 98'. The problem lies with the distributor, which happens to be RB motoring. Because they're going out of business no one is able to get a hold of c-west parts. This is what I've been told by multiple performance shops in the OC. If you find one let me know.

$50 won't hurt even if it looks like ass.

C-West USA (new branch of C-west Japan) just got up and running last month. I placed an order some time ago for a DRFT 180sx PFRP bumper, and they delivered it last month :)

actually Motorex was the US distributor for C-West parts in the US. We have recently opened up C-West USA which is a new branch of C-West Japan. The US site is up and running (http://www.c-westusa.com). We still have a few adjusments to make to the page. We are so busy with finalizing everything right now so please be patient. The mini spoiler is not on the US website or the japanese one but we do have them. Thanks everyone.
whoops my bad i meant motorex. I get the two confused.

We have a few in stock. Currently working on getting pictures of it up on the site. If you want to purchase it you would need to go through one of our authorized dealers. We should have an authorized dealer page up and running very soon. Thank you.

is there a difference between the zenki and kouki mini spoiler?
when i hit zenki the pic says "kouki version" at the top and zenki at the bottom
when i hit kouki it doesnt say anything but kouki version at the bottom
both showing the same pic. is there one where it doesnt have the cutout for the 3rd brake light?

There is virtually no difference. the only difference is that the shape of the kouki and zenki trunk is a slight bit different. So its only about fitment, not look.

Actually, your responsible for the cutout of the area for the brake light. There's an outline on the spoiler where you need to cut.
I just got mine. Follow this link and scroll down for pics of it.

That's pretty cheesy that you have to cut it yourself.
Good for the people that don't have the third brakelight though I guess....
