i just bought an s13 yesterday, and i got it cheap cuz it didn't run well. I was told it ran rich so I created a vacuum leak to just limp it two blocks over to my house, but when i pulled the brake booster vac line it dumped fuel outof the hose and manifold. so i pulled the spark plugs to see thier condition. they were sitting in fuel. so come to find out the place where i am picking up the car has been trying to fix it, but let it sit for the last three months. in that time one or more of the injectors had leaked fuel filling the manifold and engine. so to my question, which i have already searched for the answere but had no luck, does anyone know if any subaru injectors are of similar size as the stock 270cc injectors in my dohc ka? i have a stock pile of these at the shop i work at mostly from older legacy's and they are free to me, or i can pay money for nissan injectors.

Hey man have you tried replacing the injector o-rings? They are pretty cheap from the dealer.

yeah they were already done, but come to think of it the guy might have f'd things up when he put them in. he said when it came into his shop it was running rich and then he did a tune up and it didn't help so he replaced the injector o rings and it still didn't fix it so he parked it. then it sat under the snow for seven months till i got it. that's when i found the # four cyl full of fuel and the intake manifold also full. are there any tricks to getting those o rings on correctly? if the stock injectors are still in there and it has 135k miles on it is it time to replace them anyways? i searched yahoo and found a few different sites, who sold injectors, that were saying the injectors go bad at around 100k miles and need to be replaced as maintence.
