Ok now I have a '93 240 with about 65k on car. Everyone says to turbo it but i happen to hate the lag a turbo gives you. I was reading about turbos and thought that a dual turbo system might just solve some of my problems with the lag. As in small turbo and a larger turbo. Has anyone does this before on 240 or another car?

The reason i don't like turbo is when it kicks in if you are in a turn you can lose control easier i beleve. Also when you release the gas pedel you have some lag. I happen to like the carictoristics of n/a setups like response right when you push the petal. I do a lot more turn driving/racing then drag/strait from the line (1/4 mile) racing and was planning on putting a vLSD in my car.

Thanks again for your help

yes many drag cars and track cars have the sequential turbo setup <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Its possible but would be a pain in the ass to build. A KA-T with stock cams doesnt have much lag to begin with.

Just buy a Hybrid T3/T4 where there's almost no lag or maybe go for a t28 and have no lag but no top end also.

Seriously, lag is something ppl overrate.... if you want to go fast you push hard on the gas and rev above 3k, by then with most average sized turbo's you are spooled up... personally I like the idea of being able to save some gas by shifting nrmally and letting it all hang out when I feel like it later, that is why I almost prefer a little lag and a bigger turbo... sure it sucks gas when you get it up and running, but you only use it when you want to by going into that part of the powerband.

It isn't a good Idea to put twin turbo's on a 4 cylinder because you will only have 2 cylinders spinning each turbo. &nbsp;Dramatically losing efficency of the engine to spool them. &nbsp; If you did it, you would have to use 2 small turbo's like 2 T25's.

For the cost it would take to set it up, it would really be worthless, because you can setup a t3 to spool in the early to mid 2k rpm range. &nbsp;Which would be about the same lag as that twin setup, and give you more boost.

And you don't corner with the clutch in do you? &nbsp;Generally when your in a corner the engine is engaged and running at least at 3k rpm before you enter the corner. The turbo should be spooled during the duration of your cornering.
