ok, well, i finished installed my new clutch and stuff today and i went to fire it up and see how it went. well, the clutch pedal only moves at the bottom 1/3 of its total stroke. hmm, not good. ive bled it over and over, but it hasnt gotten any better. so, i fire it up, try to engage it in gear, and nope, i cant. so i get under the car and have someone press the clutch and i watch the slave. it looks like it cant extend any further at the bottom of the stroke. when they let go, it only comes up like 3" inches. the slave looks like it fully contracts? maybe it isnt. so, what i think happened was a un correct assembly of the throwout bearing. how is it supposed to go together? i put mine like this: i had the fork postioned behind the two metal studs stickin out of the piece attatched to the throwout bearing. i thought maybe they were supposed to go inbetween the bearing and the studs, but it wouldnt fit, so i put it behind it. is that correct? what could be wrong?

When i had my ka i had the same problem after intstalling the clutch. You should check the clutch pedal and adjust the clutch pedal. You have to get a 12mm and undo the little nut and then get a pair of pliers and turn the adjustment screw so that it moves toward the engine, it adjusts where the pedal ingages at. Of course you might have know this already. Sounds like you hooked it up ok.
good luck
