Im looking and an SE-R with a SR20DE in it, and I want to boost it. What is swapable between the two engines. Will the FWD SR20 be able to use the RWD exhaust manifold? o2 housing? Im looking for stuff like this. What else would I need to turbo this.

you could probably use the manifold , turbo and downpipe ........and maybe the boost fluid lol

I know I can use the turbo. And what the funk is with the smart bum remark about boost fluid. If you cant be helpful and intelligent, dont reply to my posts.

Adam, there are so many different things I have heard about the two engines, that a search would only further confuse me.
I do not know if the RWD manifold would fit. Just do to the possible clearance problems with the hood and radiator. I saw a guy on here has both a 240 and SE-R. I was hoping he would have chimed in by now. I cant even find pics of a sr20DET in a b13. The ones that are out there do not show me a clear shot in the engine bay. I just get a FMIC threw a bumper. I need an idea on placement, and clearances. If I can get that the manifold problem would answer itself with out me doing any work.
Now, I just need specs about injectors cams, IMs etc. I want a high compression DET in this car.

high compression with boost is cool.

yes the manifold bolts up. but the turbo will be backwards. go to sr20deforum.com and look around, someone just made a post about it.

you would be better off finding a manifold from an awd/fwd sr20det...I have a friend with a bluebird/pulsar motor sitting in his garage and the manifold sits the turbo a lot closer to the block than the rwd version.

I just got down putting a SR20DE gasket on my SR20DET head to manifold area and I'm not sure that manifold could sit that turbo any closer to the block. It's like an inch and a half away. Probalby just placement in the bay that makes the difference. Your gonna need custom piping anyway though so... jsut have the DP and I/C piping custom made, you should be money.

I believe if you check the FAQ section there is an entire list with Part Numbers for reference!
I think FreshAlloy also has a similar or the the same post!
