i did a search...but didnt come up with much. i like the kouki bumper but oem is too expensive. i know uras makes an frp version but it doesnt use the jdm turn signals. is there another company that makes an frp kouki bumper. i really like the missle kit front bumper that is on koguchi's red car. if i could get that one that would be sweet. any idea how? or from who?

Bmagic has a copy of the kouki bumper but it uses zenki lights(the rectangle ones)
g-grow also makes one but it will be expensive still since you would have to ship from japan. www.takakaira.com

koguchis red car is a OEM Kouki 180 bumper w/ lip and the Group A vent added
more durable. the other one was HOT ROAD last time i saw his old cars. that was on the Black car. missle sides and rear i think.
i know komatsu used to have a MISSLE KIT
kouki style so many
i know VERSION SELECT has some kouki style
but as far as the closest copy you can get is probably HOT ROAD and G GROW
both will run a lot
hot road is like..400 a front bumper...before shipping importer etc. my friend had one. it ruled. till he blew it up at the track.

URAS N+ aero
look it up on raretrick.
front bumper is like $260 or so before shipping.
uses URAS signals though.
still looks nice, just frp...not urethane (which is good in some ways i guess).

Masa Motorsports(MSports) also makes kouki FRP. THe US distributor might have them in stock, if you're interested PM me.

woudnt the hot road or g grow still be cheaper since its all one piece. where as with the oem you have to buy the lip and fender side pieces seperately. where would i get one from these companies? could someone help me find the exact price of them? so i can get a better idea.

Importfan.com had them (that was last year). I went there recently, and can't find it anymore, only the carbon fiber versions (the FRP version used those little kouki lights... the bumper looked pretty good and was under 300).

obviously its different, just thought id throw it out there since its a new kit, has a couple of the same styling cues, thought homeslice would maybe want a more affordable option, sheesh.

i say gte origin too
i am sponsor by them
i think its a badass kit but i find the agressive better
didnt mean to rail on oyu
i just hat ethe 'they all look the same' attitude people have. its very annoying bu there are differnces in each kit, some more suble the others, to a quick look it might confuse but its the small differences that make the kit unique

i was just looking at the origin stylish kit on jdmfresh.com (MA Motorsports) and the bumper is different. the pic showed here has a vent between the headlights below the hood. the one at ma motorsports doesnt have it and it goes up flush with the hood. whats up with that? if i went kouki it would be front bumper only with different brand side skirts and rear bumper. oem kouki sides and rear arent as attractive to me.

vent between headlghts sound like DRFT, not ORIGIN
or do you mean this pics?

most aftermarket aero is like such.

URAS N+ doesn't look like vertex or origin.
too bad it doesn't use oem lights (to my knowledge)
dousan, you know if it uses OEM turn signals?
i know it doesn't use the same running light.

speaking of which, why are you buying a bumper so that you can use a specific type of light bulb? just get whatever bumper you think looks good and buy some little 70$ lights for it if you want, or, hey, dont buy any lights? dunno, thats what i would do.
"i just hat ethe 'they all look the same' attitude people have. its very annoying bu there are differnces in each kit, some more suble the others, to a quick look it might confuse but its the small differences "
its cool, i meant "its the closest thing available to that style, thats easily attainable", not that its exactly the same or anything.

URAS uses i think s13 silvia bulbs
ORIGIN uses kouki 180sx lights
i dont think either are setup for turn signals, just customize them. the s13 silvia is easy i think, can get 1/2 amber/clear and the kouki takes a little working
no worries chmercer, didnt mean to jump down the throat. my apologies.

ok, cool
i MIGHT buy a new bumper soon....kinda doubtful though
paint is shitty, but oh well, car's not made for looks.
replacing timing chain guides/tensioner soon (damn KA), then i'm moving an hour away to HOPEFULLY finish college....so who knows.

dousan those are the pics i was talking about. the first origin lab pic you posted has the vent, just like the drft. and the second set with both aggressive and stylish side by side doesnt have it. and who said i was buying a bumper for different light bulbs. someone isnt reading. the URAS N+ bumper uses the long rectangular signals where as any other kouki bumper or oem uses the kouki smaller square signals. the smaller kouki ones look better period. i think any bumper would look demented with my factory rectangular ones. (1990 style front bumper) thats just the way i like it.

now i see those orgin kits are completely different front bumpers. the second set doesnt have the side vents. i like the one you posted with the sidevents and the under hood vent.

Yeah, the uras n+ uses 89-90 240sx turn signals (I guess these are the same as s13 silvia signals). I'll post pics of it when my car is out of the paint shop.
