Today after washing my S14, I notice my driver side window doesnt roll down anymore. when i try to press the button for it to go down i hear a little click, like a solenoid. Whats wrong with it? A fuse or the motor? If so, do i just need the motor, or the whole actuator and assembly.

Remove amp.
Reinstall amp.
The entire process takes less than 3 minutes. However I'll tell you if you hear a click then it's likely not the amp, but the motor. It takes about 8 minutes to replace.
And one more thing, only the 95s have the external amp, if yours is a 96-98 the threads you found don't pertain to your car.

Same thing happaned to my 95. I got a replacement amp off a junk s13. It's a real easy replacement. get the door panel off and you'll notice a little white box mid-door with the wires from your door switches plugged into it. 2 bolts hold the thing to the door.
