Well they finially arrived my Battle Z T/C Rods from phase2motortrend last week. So I get the first one in really easy torque it down no problem. Well then when I move to the right side. I get the two bolts loosened from the A arm and then proceed to take out the bolt that goes through the Bushing. Well I get it off with my snap-on impact but then the bolt wont push through at all i've tried puting WD-40 on it multiple times and i've tried banging it out, but as you know the Radius Rod comes very close to the end of the bolt so you can get a good full swing in on it, well i even tried vice grips...no luck, here the bushing was totally shot and the metal tube piece that is in the bushing is fused with the bolt( :axe: :bash: :rl: ), so tomorrow i'm going to my body shop too have them use the plasma cutter to cut the f'er out! Plus i had to wait for a new bolt and nut from nissan, before i could do this! LOL, well I hope i finially can get this other T/C rod on. Will see!

my only problem was having that nut within the frame rail brake off and roll into oblivion. JB weld going strong, this summer imma drill it out and get another one rewelded.

Yeah, the previous owner of my car liked to park the T/C brackets on curbs/parking blocks. My passenger side bolt was all fubar. The nut and bolt are only like $10 from the dealer.
Also, the bolt is tapered and will only go out of the bracket one way. I just got a big punch and tapped it out.

Same thing happened when i went to put my urethane bushings in my t/c rods. the bolts were seized in both of the bushings making them a bitch to get out. I had a high end air chisel and that wouldnt even get it out. i ended up putting it back together and now im ordering new spl t/c rods and a nismo x-brace.

You think that is bad, wait until is time to replace the front control arms....is hell trying to slide the bushing part out of the hub.....lots of banging and pounding (sorry, that didnt came out right...:) took like 4 people to pound on the arm until it finally slid out..... :hammer: :hammer:
never had this much trouble with any component on my car.... :tweak:

I reccomend people get the powerbrace when doing t/c rods.
This is what happens when you get it stuck and you can't see where the flame is coming out while trying to cut it out.

Mine however came out without a problem.

This is because you and I live in CALIFORNIA!! Where you don't see as much(if any) rust! Doing mine was CAKE, I just spent ~$60 on nismo bushings instead of replacing the whole thing. :keke:
Rust, hurricans, or smog control..which one hurts the least... :x:

Me too... Nismo bushings are the shit except they are a bitch to take out without a presser. I would also recommend you getting a nismo power brace.

I remember why the t/c rod was soo damn easy to take off. I hit a curb and broke both of the t/c rod brackets :) thats why i also opted to buy that nismo powerbrace too.
Btw... stock t/c brackets are pretty damn weak i remember them being real week when i took them off.

well like i said i have both of them in and it's not outta of alignment. it drives good , but when i get up too around 60ish it's still vibrating through the steering wheel, i have no clue now what it could be i've replaced wheel studs up front, rotors, pads and now the t/c rods. This is really burning me. So Why get the nismo power brace?? will it take care of my shaking issue, if not i'm not going to get it...i need to figure out why the hell it's still shaking through my steering wheel.

I got the same problem. Its my tie rods though. Tighten the bolts up again they tend to get loose after you drive on them.

Tie rods coming loose? One end you're supposed to use loctite the other has a nut with a pin holding it in place and the adj. has a lock nut....
