H, right now i have a wrx and a 98rs that i was going to build but i may sell both and build a 240sx. I am new to nissan and have been told by various people that a S14 SR20DET will hold 350rwhp daily driven. I am sure that the engine can hold this with proper management but will it be reliable in the long run? I am not oppossed to building the engine but i have heard there is no reason too and just can't believe the stock engine will last a long time at 350whp. If i build the engine what options should i consider aside from different internals? Anyone out there have a built SR20DET pushing 350rwhp that can comment?

Most people agree that the SR's stock internals are good for 350-400whp. The main reason people break SRs is all fuel related, preventable stuff for 90% of it... detonation, leaning out, overboost, etc.
Take a look at the stickies my friend, there is one specifically for the SR right above this.

I read the sticky but it didnt answer all of my quesitons. Good for 350whp as a drag car or can the engine handle extended periods of use at that level?
