ok im planning to turbo my ka and i wanted to know the "steps" to installing a turbo. also do i have to take out the engine to install it or can i leave it in there and work around stuff

it's possible to leave the engine in if you're not swapping internals and what not....
the install will depend on the kit. you'll have to tap the oil pan for the oil drain line, t- off from the oil pressure sensor, replace the header with the manifold, turbo, and downpipe, and install the IC and associated piping/ vacuum lines. you'll also need to prep the fuel system to handle the turbo....
