I have a redtop and I browse through alot about this subject already in 3 forums. When im accelerating it boggs around 2400-2500 rpm and it doesnt do it every gear. It does it sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. So i change the fuel filter and gapped it to .030. And it still does it. Im running out of ideas. If i have a bad maf i can't rev pass 2500 rpm right? I know the maf is working because i got it off a friends working sr. Ne other ideas??

I finally get to drive it in the highway. It doesnt just bog in 2400 rpm. It bogs whenever it wants even in higher rpm like 3k or so. It just accelerate then stop then accelerate then stop and so on? Thats the only thing left and the swap is perfect.

How do you know if you have a boost leak? haha im a retard. I dont have a boost guage yet. I connect the actuator line and t it with the bov vacuum line on the throttle body.

just try a search on it.
typically people spray shit like carb cleaner near intercooler pipes to see if the idle goes up, but thats a ghetto way.

Sounds like a MAFS problem. Check your MAFS voltages at the ECU. Your wiring could be messed up.

I finally FIXED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried the carb cleaner to see if there is any vacuum leak but there was none. So i was like freak it and messed with the TPS and it idle lower and i was like COOL BEANS. So i rev the car in neutral and it usually keep on cutting off around 2400rpm but then it just keeps on going up :wiggle: I was like o shiz i think i fixed it. So i drove around for like 5 minutes to see if it comes up back and nothing. Im so happy that its running good. Now all i need to do is put my s13 front end and coilovers in. And ill be off starting my autocross soon!!
