Stock side mount intercooler on S13 good/bad?

Has anyone ever installed the stock side mount intercooler in their S13 when swapping the SR20 in? I am just wondering if this intercooler is even worth the effort of putting in (since it came with the motorset) or should i just go with a front mount right away?

these engines run those sidemounts from the factory without problems. i dont see a reason why u shouldnt unless u're bumping up the power/boost. anyway to answer ur question, yes u can use it and ur engine will be perfectly fine. :bow:

ur probably not gonna run over 10 psi after swap for a lil while anyway. big fmic is exsessive unless u upgrading turbo or/either running 10+ psi of boost. it came stock from factory. how can anything be wrong with it
