My reverse lights do not work.

1st - I checked the bulbs - they're new.
2nd - I checked the fuse, not popped...

does anyone have similar problems?

My hypothetical Solution...

I just replaced my clutch a month ago... I noticed that during the procedure one of my gear sensors wires was cut (broken off).  I didnt think anything of it, cause my car did not give me any problems during regular driving.  If this was the reverse gear sensor, and did not give a reading, when in gear, that in turn would not turn my reverse light on... ? correct me if i'm wrong...

comments please!

Did you check the sockets on the taillamp fixture itself? These get corroded over time and the screw which fixate the socket wiring may become loose.

If you just had your clutch done then I almost gurantee that they either broke the reverse light sensor or they forgot to plug it back it. From what you said, I'd guess it's broke. Same thing happend on my Z32 right after I replaced my clutch.

No i didnt break it, it was pre-broken before i dropped the tranny... =)  but i figure thats the problem.  The reverse lights didnt work from day 1 (2 years ago).
