i currently own a 1988 300zx but was thinking of buying a 1989 240sx coupe and selling the 300zx. which would be easier/cheaper to modify and what would i get better handling and performance over all out of. and which do you think would look better. i want a reliable vehicle. tell me what way you think i should go and some info on why you choose it. thanks for the help.

Shady..is ur 300Z a turbo??..or well if u thinking of moding a car!! i'll go with a 240 cos it got more stuff to do to it..the SR the CA and a whole world of goodies...but it just me..I'ma newbie and I'm crazy hahahha <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

i forgot to mention my 1988 300zx is na.

I'd go with a '91-'94 S13 if ya like that body style cause the '89-'90 has the SHOC making 140hp (I think). The '91 and up have the DOHC making 155hp and a better looking front bumper. IMO

Ahh, if only the pig nose s13's had DOHC...I like them better <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

But yeah I'd say go with an s13 (89-94 240 in case you didn't know). &nbsp;I think they are more reliable, better looking, and better handeling than the 300. &nbsp;If it was a '90 300, I wouldn't know what to tell you. &nbsp;But your car being an '88 and n/a, I'd definately go with an s13.
