Hi,

I bought a used 95 nissan 240sx se and used it on a road trip. In the middle of the journey, the Check Engine lights went on :-<

Being a starving student, I decide to do the check myself. I went on the web and found two ways to read the computer codes - to read off the ECU behind the right passenger kick panel or to connect the pins on the CONSULT connector which is located on the driver side's fuse box. I got the second method from an Australian website, and it seems easier.

Does anyone has experience locating the CONSULT connector, specifically where are the pins?

Thanks

Suposedly all Nissan codes are they same, I seen that too on the FAQ. I was wondering the same thing myself. I don't wanna try it and kill my ECU. Maybe right before I do the SR swap I wil. That is if DA performance ever e-mails me back.

The connector is at the top of the fuse panel (but still behind the cover). Don't know the pins to jump, though. I'd be happy to test the procedure, if you post the URL of the Aussie website.

OK, it's got, and bookmarked (actually, I think I've been there before, and even emailed the dude about some inaccuracies in his description of the US S12, to no avail).

Anyway, I'm late and its sleepy, so I'll check it out tomorrow.
