It says it is an SE, but it is not. What was the difference of the SE and the regular 240sx in 1993? I have talked them down to around $4200, is it worth it. have you looked at it yet? run the VIN# at carfax. That is the best $20 anyone can spend on car hunting.
It'd be worth it if the body is perfect. and there is NO rust. And the interior is immaculate.
Have a mechanic do a check on it. The dealership has an used car inspection they an do for you.
For differences in the models check out http://www.socal240sx.org/faq/1993.html
usually the bas models are missing power windows/locks. sway bars.. map lights.. etc.. check it out.

Well according to the features of the car, it has a steering wheel. Who would've guessed? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

they are describing the type of steering wheel
steering wheel, tilt
windows, power
defrost, rear
bla bla bla
Check out http://www.kbb.com to see what they say. Looks like with that ammount of mileage it should be between 3,800 and 4,200 depending on its cond. and features.
WTF! Its had 8 things happen to it and its in Japan???
Click on autotrader for its history report ($11 for full report but you get a little summary)

Well, I ran the carfax. If you want to also, use
[email protected] under account holders. The autotrader advertisement may be somewhat incorrect. It states that it is a single-owner car, but it may not be.
It was titled in Florida on 2/22/1994 w/ 194 miles on it.
Titled in New York on 12/03/1997 w/ 48,564 miles on it.
Titled in New Mexico on 08/02/2000 w/ 81,938 miles on it.
This doesn't necessarily mean that it had 3 owners--the owner may have moved from Florida to New York to New Mexico and had to have it titled in each state he/she moved to. Only the car knows <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>
Carfax also says the car is an SE model.

4200 is still a bit high, but if its in really immaculate condition, I could see going for it because its hard to find s13s in that kind of condition.
It would have to be perfect though.

I think I will wait and try to find another one. Thanks for all your help. I have decided that I really want an s14 because I can find one with low miles.

My answer is NO. Actually, scratch that.
hell NO.
Go to edmunds.com and utilize their real car pricing system.
I'd pay at the MAX $3500 for that car. The reason I stress to you that this is not a good deal is that I got ripped off on my car, and I'd prefer nobody else did.
I MIGHT pay $5900 for that car if it had under 10k miles, was truly a one owner car, etc.
Dave bought his S13 with 23k miles for around 3k iirc.. Granted it has a salvage title for whatever reason, but I'd prefer a 3k salvage titled car than a clean titled 5900 dollar car. I modify my car, and I have no intention of selling it. Period. I know that there's no way I could possibly get what I wanted for my car.

No, thats kinda steep for a '93. I'm comparing this to my '95 SE that I got for $3700.
