Sure just remove everything from the door that would normally protect you in an accident. That'll make it lighter.

remove everything except for the inner pipe in the door.. cut the inner part off... basically left with a door skin.. make sure u use some protection foam on the edges...

I foreget the exact website, but do some searching the website ends in .jo they have carbon fiber doors for the S14 and S13.
I've even seen door inserts they replace the entire inner panels with a carbon fiber piece.
well i mean if you have a properly built full roll cage (obviously not optimal for the street)
you dont even need doors
so THEN a carbonfiber shell replacement would work out.

OH HECK YEAH THEY DO!! and I want them baddddddd. HPI manufacturers a carbon fiber door that "weighs 15.4 lbs with out glass or accessories when your stock door can weight up to 40lbs with out glass or accessories. This provides you with a weight saving of up to 25lbs per door. The HPI carbon fiber doors are also exact copies of the stock door so all stock components such as glass and door handles are functional and fix correctly."

I you have a full cage then get a cf door, but if you have a cageless car that you drive daily, then don't even worry about it. Anything you could do to save a meaningful amount of weight, will make you very dead in a side impact crash.

you just have to deal with it. besides I have never heard of anyone complaining that the doors were oh so heavy. maybe you are too weak or lazy. just take off your door panels and remove the plastic layer and other BS. if your doors are manual then take off all the other bs and just have the door lock and lever. if your power your screwed so hush and deal with it. you want to reduce weight. take out ish from other parts of the car.

I wonder how much those seibon doors cost.
I was planing on going with a pair of manual doors after my pass side door ate mountin but if a pair of CF doors is fair priced I would pick em up instead. Those HPI doors are nice but way out of my price range.
