Hey im pretty set on the version select type I kit for my zenki complimented by the german headlights. Im concerned that the sideskirts and the whole kit for that matter may hang too low because i have smaller tires and the car is lowered on tein coilovers. Does anyone have any experience with kits on their daily driver? I was thinkin bout using the JDM zenki sides instead if they would line up with the other pieces and if I damaged the front bumper the zenki sides would go with anything.

Anyone have pics of zenkis with kits utilizing the JDM zenki sideskirts?

F*&^ it, the kit is so cheap, if you mess anything up, just buy another one.

you can raise your car since you have coilovers or you can paint the front bumper urself or just paint the bottome lip yourself since thats the area that will be cracking the most.

mmm... whats the point of having a car with kit and slamming if its not to daily drive it and show off your sick azz ride? are you going carpet queen on me?

side shot, you can see its way slammed, but at that point its not the sideskirts you're worried about... cause everything else on your car is scraping, from downpipe/header to exhaust and of course, front bumper

with some practice of driving over speedbumps at an extreme and slow angle, you wont hit the bottom of the sideskirt much....you'll just have to worry about hitting your front bumper.
and i wouldnt worry much that u can go low with Teins :P

The front bumper will be damaged, no matter how hard you avoid it, something is going to get in yah way, just get the kit, install it, see how it flows with you and your driving. . . if it doesn't work out, drop the kit. I'll be running the URAS Zenki flared ( competing with the BN Sports flared) and that is E'nuff on the streets of cali, you should not be worried to much.

I've had my fiberglass kit on my lowered DD Zenki for 1 year now, and have only damaged the front. One good hit on a concrete bumper wrecker (parking curb) did the most damge. I have spider web cracks all across the bottom front now, but it still looks good from a distance. I think I've learned my lesson, and now I always back in when I park. I've promissed myself that if i go 1 full year W/O any more hits, I'll get it fixed. I hope that it can be sanded, refinished, and repainted for a few hundred bucks. As far as sideskirts compatibility with other kits, I think that most of the "clean ones" look alike: JDM Zenki, M-sports, Version, Charge Speed.

thats weird. i ran my car on kyb agx and ground control sleeves all last summer and the front bumper was sitting 2.5 inches off the ground. never hit the bumper once. you just gotta learn where to drive the car and how to drive it!! the only thing that would scrap was my apex'i N1.

It takes practice but it can be done but when you hit something your heart is going to stop. I have been driving my zenki without a bumper or sideskirts just the rear aero for about 1 month and its fun because you dont have to worry about hitting anything. The only downside is that you paid a lot of some aero thats going to sit in your garage and your car dosent look good.

Body kits are really easy to fix. Atleast from my experience some bondo, sand paper, spray cans and patience will get your bumper fixed up. Sometimes it wont come out %100 good but unless its a show car its enough to make it hold up. Just zip tie that bitch back on and have your repair kit ready and your experience fixing it will come in handy the next time you break your aero.

how do you think the jdm zenki sides would look on the version select kit front and rear

bad, the zenki aero skirts are higher than normal aftermarket skirts, it won't line up right. it also looks best with some kind of nissan aero front and rear. if you're going aftermarket, go all out, get a full kit, don't ever mis-and-match. the lines on a good kit flows from the front to the rear. Or else you get some ghetto nasty rice boy crap with pieces that look like they don't belong on the car.
