Wow, they look amazing! I love those wheels. I will be getting some too but I can only get them in gray for my S13. What size tire are you running? I'm going to go with 225/45/16 all around.

yeah unfortunately i did have to get them from tirerack....someone informed me (not sure if true) that tirerack was the only distrubtor of them. so i had to give in and buy em, it's ok though, i get 20% off all stuff from there. luckily i got 4 of the last 5 they had. i don't know the exact weight, but my friends 15's weigh 11lbs, so i'm guessin mine are around 14-15lbs.

Are you running 225's on 7" rims?
I was looking on hooking up some 225's but wasn't sure if they buldge over the rim too much.

damn, what offset are those? do they fill the wheelwells better? they look like they do, but it could just be the pic, who knows. Let me know how close they come to filling perfectly and what size offset they are, thanks bro. I'm looking into what wheels I want right now and I have the same exact car as yours, color too, except mines base model.

yeah i do have prokit and blues......
i got the springs from ultraperformance.....$220
got the tokico's from nopi......$400
you may be able to find better prices, but i bought that stuff before i joined the forum, so i didn't know any better
installation.......easy as long as you kinda know what you're doin and have proper tools, i had a minor problem with the tokico's and called them up, their tech support was great and got the problem fixed right away
performance:
prokits-great ride quality, very progressive. definite improvement in handling. as far as i know these are the only springs on the market that you won't have to get a camber correction kit to get the allignment back within factory tolerances. drop is just enough, gets rid of almost all of the fender gap. i sometimes wish i had a bigger drop, but then i'd have to spend more money on camber plates etc.
tokico's-actually improved handling more than the springs did i thought, but they did cost 2x as much. perfect ride harshness for a daily driver/weekend racer if you ask me. roads in kansas and minnesota are far from perfect and this is a great compromise.
i have no regrets about purchasing either one of these products, and for future cars i will probably buy them again.
hope this helps
thanks a bunch, that did help. great looking car btw, ur rims look so good i'd have thought they were 17's. they look just right. I'm now rethinking the 17" rims i was planning on getting after seeing those... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> i have the blue/green color s14, so anthracite rims don't look stellar imho. On black it looks great. I'm torn between white and silver rims, with grey/anthracite in the back of my mind... we'll c... anyhow, thanks again for the review!

Tnord,
Looks nice! That's exactly what I wanted to do to my car, gunmetal K-1s in a 16 on my black mc-s14. Too bad I gotta sell it.....

Whoa - your car looks just like uuninja's now (except he went 17"). Looks good!
...so much for me being the only one who would buy 16" aftermarket wheels... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I didn't think they made the K-1's in 17"? Anybody got a resourse. That was the main reason I didn't want them. I personally think 17's look better on the car.

yeah they got them in 17, at least for 5 lug they do. tirerack had them. i wanted 17 but didn't get them for several reasons.
1. i already had nice tires for 16's
2. $
3. lighter
4. i get 2 points asessed to my modification total for MCSCC events which would bump me up to "modified" class. and as of right now, i think i'll contend for the "prepared" class title, so i'd like to stay there.

<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/inlove.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> the new wheels though <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
Yeah tirerack.com is where my 17/7.5 k1's came from. I remembering Alex form Freshalloy posted the weights of all the K1's there was 1.5 lbs difference between the 16 and 17's
They are best deal going IMHO.
