I'm almost 100% sure they wont fit. Even with fender pulling. I slapped 18x10 up front..with just enough spacing to clear coilovers..but they don't clear the fender. Fender pulling up front is just ugly.

Anything can fit if you're willing to put in the work and money. We're not talking about what's "ugly" or not. That's subjective. Your original post insinuated that these "won't fit" and are "not local", which are both false. That's all. Just clarifying things here for potential buyers.

Well, obviously anything will fit on anything if you put enough money and work in to it. But for most of the people on this board, they're not willing to do that. So, no, they will not fit.

Hell.. they could be 22x15+0, and I'd say they wont fit. But with enough money, it'll work.

Just curious.. but if you were 100% sure they wouldn't fit then why make the first statement/post.. when it was OBVIOUS even to my little sister who knows nothing about cars that the WEDs would NOT fit on an S14 w/o some decent work... it almost seems like you were trying to dilute this thread with an attempt at making yourself seem grand by first stating that you'd actually buy these $$ wheels, and then by showing off that you slapped 18x10s in the front of your car. Damn ryank, you seem to be some kind of smart ass. You aren't claifying anything, just causing more confusion. The assumption that Smog Tech made about the seller being local or not is pretty much irrelevant with anyone else's reason to buy for the exception of his own.

You said you are trying to clarify things up for other potential buyers, however, what Smog Tech stated is pretty much the reason HE wasn't going to buy them. If someone else wants to buy them they can go right ahead.

Also who are you to know if Smog Tech is local or not? You making the accusation about the buyer and seller possibly being local is the same exact thing that smog tech did by assuming the seller wasn't local.

Even if the seller was local, please tell me how this would really hurt his sale... Wait dont, you'll just come up with some ricer remark saying something like "Well, if Smog Tech says that guys is not local, then other members may think the same thing, consequently, the seller may have a pontential buyer, but then the buyer backed out after seeing that the seller isn't local, blah blah"

Back to smog tech saying it wouldn't fit on his car, if he says it doesn't fit on his car it probably wont, I would think he knows his car much more then you do. Of course wheel offset has to do alot with if a wheel will fit or not, Having put 18X10s on his car, he would have a good idea if 19X10.5 or not.

NO sh*t, but dont you think a potential buyer would want to know if they needed to pull the fenders or not. Fact is, is that it would most likely not fit on a car with the fenders not pulled. If you dont pull the fenders the wheels wont fit, so because of that, the wheels wout fit the car. Any one can put something into something else "if they're willing to put in the work and money." That can be said about anything, and that is also subjective dont you think?

Why? Who cares? I'm giving the dude props for having pimp wheels. What's wrong with that? If those rims were to fit on my car with out any major work, it would be a deal for the both of us. How am I diluting this thread if I'm stating his wheels are hot, and I'd buy them if they fit? 18x10s is for refererance that they WILL NOT fit on an s14 chasis(up front). I'm sure others would AGREE that if these wheels fit on their S14(bolt on), that there would be several more inquiries..than "wow those wheels are hot".

1) you KNOW that they don't since you know about fender processing, and
2) you have fit less agressive wheels on your car before and already encountered fitment issues?

It's one thing to bump a fs post as a favor to the seller or for whatever other reason.. but there's no need to use the post as an opportunity to spout nonsense about how you'd buy them if they were something they obviously are not (i.e. they will NOT fit S14s w/o work, and they actually ARE local). Analogy: someone posts a Ferrari 360 in awesome condition for sale for 80K cash. Someone who can barely pay his cell phone bill each month and lowballs people on the pricing of stickers, for example, posts "oh man I'd buy that right now... Realistically, these wheels wont fit a 240. To the seller, may i suggest posting these wheels for sale on forums for VIP type cars like LS400's, Q45's, etc. You might even try the G35, 350Z, or Supra forums. I'm locking this cuz nothing is being sold or negotiated here...its just turned into a nag fest. :rolleyes:
