takata harness install on s13

so i was trying to install my 4 point harness tonight. I sucessfully installed 3 of the belts in place with the eye bolts they provided.

but then here is the problem.....i couldn't find a place to put the 4th eye bolt.
the one on the right if facing the steering wheel. the other 3 i found a place for them but then i just couldn't find the 4th one. there were other bolts for the original seat belts, but the size of the thread is not the same as the eye bolt provided by takata so that couldn't work. :wtc:


anyone with takata belts...help? :bash: :bash:

i was thinking maybe i should just buy another eyebolt with smaller size thread so it will fit. who sells those things? home depot?

what are my other choices.

only a chosen few that are lucky bastards (you included)...so jealous...sorry couldnt help...im pretty sure any hardware store sells eyebolts...kuruptR rocks takatas...pm him...

what kinda seat are you running? stock?

you will either have to drill into the tranny tunnel or find a way to replace the side belt location.

i guess i'll have to go look for some eye bolts that will fit into the side belt location.

any other suggestions? besides drilling into the tranny tunnel. i do not have the tools to drill it myself.
