i'm not lookin forward to this, but i've realized repairing & re-covering my damaged dash is not in my best interest <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> . at this point i'm lookin to replace it. has anyone replaced the whole dash assy due to airbag deployment damage?? i know it's gonna be a big project, but any hangups or tips?? &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> thanks in advance!

I have the same problem. &nbsp;I've had my dash in and out probably 3 times now just trying things. &nbsp;i was surprised how easy it was to take out. &nbsp;if you have a chiltons or fsm it tells you where all the bolts are. iirc there are two where your defroster blows out, one on the vent on the side of the dash(pass side only), one on each side down by your kick panels, and there might be one behind the glove box and instrument cluster. &nbsp;i can usually pull my dash in under 30 minutes. good luck.

sweeeet!! i've seen other cars that req'd half a days work by a trained tech at a dealer just to get em out <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> . that's great news &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> . thanks!

Yeah, its not bad at all to get the dash out. Took me a while to find those two screws hiding under the defroster vent though.
Would be even easier if you had a chiltons to tell you where all thescrews are.
