12.7 @ 108mph...no big deal right?
Look under the scoreboard and see what posted that time!

Are you sure it was the truck that posted that time and not the car in the far lane?

arent the cars usually on the same side as the time they got. I mean it believable they got those 10 sec minivans y not a 12 sec truck, I dunno why you would do this, but whatever floats your boat

I don't understand... is this supposed to be amazing? Do you not know that trucks aren't slow?

It looks like a Turbo Diesel Dodge Dually. Those actually have very powerful engines that can be tuned very nicely. My bf's bro has one and they're not too bad at all.

What are the chances that the two people, two girls, two girls with animated avitars would happen to chose a banana and a monkey?
...oh yeah - and some trucks are fast!

this summer hopefully i get to take my truck to the local track to see what itll do. im pretty confident itll to 12's
just because its a truck doesnt mean it cant be fast. last year i saw a mid 50's pickup(street legal) run low 10's

the truck i drive at work to do deliveries sometimes is a ford f-250 , 5.7 liter turbo diesel with a superchip in it , that thing can run twelves easily , although i have never really timed it , i can bury the needle til it's about to snap off , lol , i can lay down crazy strips with it too

Y'all sure that's not an 1/8th mile time?!? That's believeable.
Sorry, but I just can't believe that it's a 1/4 mile run. Especially since it's a Dodge!!!
Wait...I just noticed the 108.99mph. No way yer gonna run a 12.788 at that speed in the 8th. I suppose that it is a 1/4 mile time after all.
Big engines and fat turbos can do miracles!!

uh....no. pickups...especially the diesel ones are slow as balls stock...and a superchip wont make that much of a difference. those things take like 9-10 sec just to get to 60mph and if you dont belive me look it up. the gas versions are faster. those deisels have about 450+ lb-ft of torque but they only got like 200hp on a 5000lb car. i do belive that trucks can be made to run fast but not without mods. stock ones are just slow period. but i bet that thing lays down rubber like a mother (rhymes )

You have to remember, that trucks are not only slower because of engine tuning for pulling, but its also gearing. Gearing is usually kept secret by top-fuel drag cars, nascar, etc...
