well.. my friend has a Mk3 getting a stage 2 turbo kit giving him 350HP.. what do you think?? haha but im getting the sr20det soon the S13 sr20det.. and upgrading the turbo... im not sure on what im gonna upgrade it to... but what do you guys think about the MK3 250 HP and redtop SR20det pushing 14psi in a s14

he is saying 350HP comming out of the stage 2 kit....  any help would be nice...

350? That's a lot. With a completely stock SR, the highest I've seen is 319rwhp (with intercooler and boost set to more than 1 bar, not sure). To get more, you'll have to upgrade more than the turbo. Add some fuel, some Nismo 550cc injectors just drop in, and a Walbro fuel pump is a popular upgrade as well. You're gonna have to get an intercooler as well if you're planning on boosting more than stock. Another is to get a Z32 MAF to get more air in, and have JWT tune it with the extra fuel for a stable mixture. Add the boost controller, set it to 14psi and you should have no problem.

If he doesn't have the stage 2 yet, get an intercooler and boost controller. Tune it on a dyno for more stability.

i would think that the supra would win because of the fact that they come stock with better tires=meaning that the supra will have better traction.
i dunno.
maybe the s14 will work because of the fact that the nissan is a lighter car

So the MK3 will have 350HP?? And now he as 250HP??

The s13 SR will only boost safety to 14psi on a stock turbo. Look for about 220WHP.

Anyway a cheap and easy turbo upgrade is the T3/T25 or the BIG 28. www.srsawp.com will have the turbo soon. It's basically a remolded stock t25. The T3/T25 is good for around 310WHP at 20PSI (estimated). They also have all the necessary fuel upgrades to make you run safety at 20PSI. If not you can get T3/T4. You also need to change the position of the turbo if you go with T3/T4

If you want to spend some serous cash the HKS turbo is the way to go. Ball bearing, quick spooling turbos and they fit the stock turbo position. GT2835 is good for 330HP too. expect to pay 1,500 plus on the turbo alone.

Now I'm not a expert put this what I gather from months of research on this.

Don't forget about the FMIC, B.O.V, boost controller and of course good wheelz/tires.

Did I meantion LSD and good handaling mods??
