View Full Version : dialing the tein HEs...

well, i just got a set of used tein HEs with p/b uppermounts. i havn't dealt with dialing coilovers before because ive always had spring/shocks. they didnt come with instructions so i dont know how to dial anything in. i know how everything works (lower/upper perch, camber), but dont know how to set it. how much can you tighten the upper perch (so the spring is seated tightly) before it hinders spring travel? does the dampening knob go all the way around or does it stop at 16? how else do you know what setting your on? can anybody pm me with instuctions or post any advice? thanks

got it, but is there a "standard value" for the camber? it doesnt say. just trying to get the coilovers to factory spec and mess around for my own specs...

after you install them

cool thanks man. i want camber, but dont know how much yet so i was just going to play around. setting to stock and ill go from there

gonna have to dial in a shit load after i get my rims anyway.
