Flippin through the latest SCC, I get to page 63. What do I see there? The neatest thing I've ever seen. The picture and the little blurb about that Ikeya Formula semi-sequential shifter conversion.

For those of you who don't have the issue:
"Atop the cool parts list is the Ikeya Formula semi-sequential shifter conversion. Using a mechanical device, which fits on top of your gearbox, shift motion is changed to backward and forward, although you still need to use the clutch."

I think it's awesome. I wonder how much they go for?

{edit} Found a thread about this thing in Tech Talk, and I found the price on Ikeya Formula's site.  120,000 yen, or approximately $1,444 CDN.  YIKES.

they have them if you would like to get one, I think it takes away the fun and looks REALLY ugly.

I dont think it would be that bad as long as you still have the use of the clutch. I need every reason possible to toe and heel &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/lookaround.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':look:'> .
Im a big rally fan and have decided i the same shifter setup as the peugeot 206 has. It has this ring thingy on the inner front of the stearing wheel for down shifting and has another on the backside of the steering wheel that is a little bigger for up shifting. So you are always keeping your hads on the steering wheel. If you notice the wrx rally car is now a automatic.... yep yep. Something about taking to long to shift or something. Guess peugeot found another way and I really want it.

Sorry about the rambling.

From what i understand of this mod, i thought it was an option for you to switch back and forth from normal 5 speed clutch driving to autostick driving. didn't the info mention that if you were in city traffic you would use the autostick w/out the clutch and if you're driving in the back roads you can change it back to 5 speed right?
