I'm planning on tackling the jdm S14 kouki front bumper conversion on sunday and I wanted to make sure I dont get stuck on the wiring for the turn signals. I searched and found a thread that gave a brief explanation of the rewire but I wanted to make sure I know what I'm doing. The stock USDM uses a 194 bulb for the sidemarker (red wire/ black wire) and the turn signal is a 1156 bulb (green wire, black wire). The JDM kouki uses a single unit that uses a 921 bulb for the turn signal and a 194 for a sidemarker. They use the same red wire and black wire that go into a female end of a plug. My question now is where do I splice the wires and which ones do I splice. I want to have both bulbs stay on with my headlights and blink for a turn signal but I dont know what wire-up that would require. Do I totally ditch the female plug that the black and red wires go to on the jdm unit? I took some pics of the USDM signals and the JDM signal so future searchs can use the info. Any help is appreciated.

Thank You

edit* pics were long deleted but the last post worked for me!

You can't do that with what you have. You'll need a pair of dual filament sockets, and you'll probably have to trim out the housings to fit them. Then it's easy, ground, parking feed, and signal feed.

OE it looks like they only light when signalled.

I don't know why you want to wire it up wrong. The easy way to do it correctly (compliant with USDM requirements) would be ditch the female plug that all the wires go to. Splice the 2 wires from each socket to the 2 wires that went to each of the USDM sockets. Notice that the USDM side marker socket is the same socket used in both positions on the JDM turn signal/side marker, but the wires on it aren't long enough to reach the new location, so you'll have to splice anyway.
