I am in the midst of putting SPL solid aluminum subframe bushings in my car. i got the old bushings out but there is still a metal sleeve in the subframe that has to be taken out. it is really siezed in there with rust. Any ideas with how to get them out?

The usual way is to make a cut through the sleeve (be careful not to cut the subframe), then use a chisel to bend/peel back the sleeve... you can use a hand saw (slow but safe) or a die grinder (fast but must be very careful, best not to fully cut through the sleeve, do the last bit by hand)...

welp, i finally have two of them out. just to keep yall updated and how to do it the most efficiently. You first want to get a sawsall and cut a line right down the side of the sleeve. then spread it apart with a lifetime warranty flathead screwdriver or chisel. you should have each out in about 10 min. :) thanks for all the help
