I have a 95 Ford Probe GT and I bought a set of 17 Tesla rims with 205/40/17 tires and they are mounted & brand spankin. When I put one of them on my car I realized I had made a drastic mistake. These are the wrong style tires. With my dropped suspension they are too low profile and I will bottom out on the road. They are 23.6" in diameter and my car way too low to the ground for these. I need at least 24.5". I advertised them on my probe forum but they all said to try here. So here I am trying again.

I was going to remove the tires, buy the right size and keep the wheels. But I am considering selling them as a package rather than paying $80 to have them striipped and remounted to a new tire. I could just try to get the same amount out of them as I paid for them and start over again. I love the wheels but I could just buy them again with the correct size and I would be paying the same amount without having to cover dismounting and remounting charges. I was told they should fit most nissan lug patterns as they are universal 5 lug wheels. I am asking $900 for the package with shipping included depending on location. And I am asking $360 for the tires including shipping(this is about $15 cheaper than tirerack.com). The tires are Khumo Ecsta's & are rated A on temperature & traction and have a 320 tread ware. They are good all around tires and everything is new. I just want to start over and get the right sized tires.

If you would like to see the pics of the wheels on the tires I can snap some pics with the digital camera and send them in an email to you. I am willing to dismount tires and sell the tires seperate if anyone is interested in them, but I'd rather get rid of the whole package so I can start over without paying the mounting charges. Most tire places in Ohio do free mounting now. Thanks for your interest,

Dan
