I stumbled on this pic. I guess its a 180SX wit the R32 lights (sorta). Anyone got any more pics of it. It looks kinda cool.

those aren't 180 lights w/ vinyl overlays. follow the "lines" of the lights and you'll be able to see that. true, they are zenki or chuki 180 lights (89-96 180sx, 89-93 240 f/b), just not the kouki lights (96.5-98 180's) which i'm assuming you're referring to. OneLine was the company that made that kit, they stopped making it a while ago, Hasemi Sport made taillight cover kit for the kouki tails (giving it a similar "Skyline" look/effect), but they also stopped making it. i had tried to obtain those kits from back in late 97 when i first saw them and ran into countless dead-ends and then being informed by numerous contacts in Japan that they were discontinued. the info of the Hasemi kit came directly from Hasemi Sport themselves when i had a friend call them directly to find out info about it. although i've heard that a few of these light kits are floating around at some tuner shops in Japan and can still be found new, just gotta be lucky. the kits are rather pricey though, somewhere in the $500+ range.
the term OneLine did indeed come from the fact that originally someone in Japan took a set of R32 tails and modified/swapped them into a 180sx taillight housing, 180 front/Skyline looking rear = OneLine.
here's a link to an ad from a couple yrs back that i'm sure a lot of ppl have seen before http://members.tripod.com/GAI_P/AERO.htm
another one to a club in Japan who all have the OneLine kits http://www.aa.aeonnet.ne.jp/~col/oneline/oneline.htm for those who can read Japanese, loosely translated (and i stress "loosely") the site says something about the lights for the R32 and 180's being interchangable. i dunno how true that is, but there's mention of that on the page

I"m just really trying to say that those are not Skyline tailights. That's all.

man talk about research, but I guess for something that nice you would go far lengths for a pair.

actually Irena those are indeed R32 Skyline tails. hehehe
Oneline was a company in Japan doing it.
Now if you want to argue about this we can.
It just so happens I was cruising down Venice boulvard last night sporting my Kouki tails. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>
when I rolled up on a Black 90 Fastback sporting guess what? R32 Skyline tails . Yup the oneline look .
I also have first hand experience seeing several R32 Skylines up close (MotoRex) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>
Those oneline pics he posted are real those are not Kouki . Kouki tails are not flat like that they cup out slightly and are visible in pics . Also those are not stock rear tails taped up. look carefully at the pic and the color of the turn signal and the shape. You cannot get a taped up stock rear hatch tail to have that yellow/orange turn signal in the center between the two round ones if you tape up a stock tail.
Dave, who fell in love with oneline tails a long time ago but did not get around to trying to hunt them down till they were no longer made. thought about the R32 tail route did not want to do the bodywork and wound up with Kouki's ( yes soon I will have pics of my ride) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

why not add another pic? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

It's a cool idea, but am I the only one who doesn't think they fit quite right?

I don't think they look right either personally.
the link 808rps13 put up: http://members.tripod.com/GAI_P/AERO.htm
has a pic with some gauge pod that attaches to the Sun visor over the gauges. That would be sweet if you could find it and fit it to a left hand drive car...

i think the kouki tail lights look so much better than the oneline..
At any rate, if not the oneline kit, why not go with the real thing, Koito... hmm, I had r33 4dr taillights for awhile and was planning on working to fit it on the s14.. but never got around to it and sold it for double the price i got it... oh well

LOL--I noticed that, too. It took me a few posts to realize that it isn't '02 anymore--the date tripped me out!

lets complain about bringing old threads to the top by posting and bringing them to the top...
am I the only one who sees the irony in that?
btw I don't like the taillights, for the record. Unique, but... not to my tastes.

The guy brought the thread back from the dead because he had a question and doesn't want to start another thread.
What's worst?
A - <li>Asking a question on a potential old thread?</li>
B - <li>Start a new thread over and over on the same topic resulting in the typical "SEARCH!!!" complaint?</li>
BAH......
