Yokohama ES100's?
Kumho 712's?
Sumitomo HTR Z?
Fuzion ZRi?
It is only limited to these 4 b/c they are under $100 in the 245/45/16 size :/ Sucks that they don't make like Dunlop FM901's or something cheaper. :hammer:
Thanks :coold:

You know if you need to go with a diffrent size if you want a diffrent tire brand. I hate khumo's cause there weak sauce, sumitomos cant really say anything cause ive never used them but i wouldnt go with them, fuzion zri, i heard the supposedly grip will but i wouldnt know, sounds like a ricer tire brand even though they were made by firestone?? I run es100's, been a while now, good tires. Grip really well.

I always like Falkens and are very pleased with them, but out of the 4 choices you have I'd go with the ES100's

What are you doing with them? DD? Drift? Grip? mix?
I hate FM901s, but I seem to be one of very few....
I have only had experience with ES100s (out of that list) and no complaints from me.

Sumis are cheap tires, not that great. Fuzion is new, if you trust it then do it, I don't. ES100's have weak sidewalls, IMO they're ONLY good for drifting when you have a stretched tire. The Kumhos are just as good as the ES's really... but if you're going for grip/autox then get some Kumho Ecsta MX (not Supra 712's)... they grip a little better, and def. grip better than ES100's.
FM901= Weaksause  . Yok es100 is the best bet. although all those are :ghey:
get some Bridgestone re750, traction:AA Treadwear:340 =Hotsause. im luvin'em

supposedly re750 is suppose to be better but es100's are kick ass grip. although the sidewalls look small in comparision to teh chunky 750's id rather have the smaller sidewall. Looks better and you dont have to have the ahem ** jdm tyte*** stretch look either.

i just ordered a set of es100's from www.discounttiredirect.com for 450 shipped and with insurance on all of them. ive been running falken gr'bs, and they're good tires, but the es100's should be better... top drifters use the es100 for two reasons.. great grip, and cheap. ive been reading a lot of reviews on them, and they outperform many tires, but supposedly they have a lot of road noise. one thing to keep in mind.. the driver is more important than the tire when it comes to getting good traction.. keep that in mind.

From what I understand the Falken Azenis and Kumho MX both have far superior grip than ES100...the Yoko is more of an aggressive daily driver than a serious performance tire. If you want something like that, thats cool, but if your ride is gonna be abused...you want some stick, and don't go cheap on your tires, because they make a fuggin difference.
Wider tires aren't always more grip...some tires are just far sticker than others. Case in piont, some autoX people have said that a 205 Falken Azenis Sport has more grip than a 225 Kumho Mx, despite the 20mm difference.
Me? I think I'm gonna try to Bridgeston RE750 when i get the chance.

falken azenisis are teh sticky.... those fuzion tires fall apart... ive seen 3 come into our store that are tore up at the sidewalls... i work at Just Tires btw...sumitumos are good tires, but they are more for the show type... they are better when made for like 18's, 19's, etc.
i have a set of FM901's on my car right now... not a bad tire.... but they are on the lowest end of dunlops tire lineup...
if you have the money and want to grip, i say pick up a set of Dunlop Sport Maxxes or Dunlop Direzzas....
or you can get some bridgstone Potenza S0-3 or the new S0-4...
but out of the 4 choices you gave... the es100's would be your best bet..

I am in love with ES100s... Great traction, great treadlife, hold up very well to heat.

This is more for daily driving, somewhat spirited at times. I don't want to dish out 150/tire just for dailies -_- And that is why I have gone w/ the ES100's but thanks for all the good notes :D

Falkens all the way, ziex are good to tear up and azenis are gummy as hell.

i just put some falken azenis st-115 on my car for rear tires.
***i use my car for drifting***
i really like these tires because they seem to have great grip and are very predictable.
the only thing i dont like is that they seem to wear out pretty quick.
i also have experience with Dunlop FM901 and Yokohama ES100.
these two last longer, but dont offer as much grip as the falkens.
it's all a tradeoff i suppose.

Yeah, after weighing everything, I would rather have more tread + little bit less traction since I'm a broke college student. I prob would put some falkens on my "fun" pair of rims tho :D If only we could have the 1 big ass center lug thing like the ferrari's, it would almost be effortless. :)

Dont expect those Yokohamas to last to long either though. Maybe 15 thousand miles if you dont spin em a lot
