working on getting the rest of the things i need for my sr20 swap amd was wondering if anybody has used a Starion FM Intercooler on an s13.  If so how well does it work and was it fairly easy to install??  I'm open for suggestions if anybody has some....

not seen on 240's, but have on a few other home-brew i/c set-ups. &nbsp;apparently a good piece. as long as the dimensions work for your car. only thing u'll need ultimately is capability to get alum welding done for mounting brackets. my $.02 &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

A starion i/c is the best damn thing to get if youre on a budget. It's even a good piece just to start w/ on a base to mildly moded sr20det. Depending on the year of your car, all you have to do it cut some extra molding off the lower front bumper (since there's a space there anyways) and the i/c should be able to get some nice air from underneath the front of the car, unless you get a widemouth style bumper and slap that bad boy right dab in the middle.....Which would be my best suggestion.

A guy in San Diego is using the Starion intercooler on his KA-T in a 90 fastback.

hehe... funny story... &nbsp;

The Japanese named the car "Stallion"
Now.... say that with an accent...

That's all I should have to say =)

True story!

I have one on my KA24DET. I cut the stock piping off and welded new piping on the endtanks, so now it's a straight through design.
