sohc s13 manual tranny in my dohc s14 auto

I know I'm gonna get alot of flak for this ,but I need to know if a sohc transmission from a s13 will fit and work properly in my s14 auto matic.If so are the gear ratios the same and is it a major pain in the ass or is it no big deal?

yah it works, we did it to my friends car.. just buy the clutch for the rear of the tranny iirc..

the tranny will work fine, the only two differences are one less sensor in the trans and you need to remove the s13 manual speed sensor and install a s14 manual speed sensor then it will work fine and read out the accurate speed.

question: this means the clutch and flywheels are the same for SOHC tranny and DOHC both, correct??
