Has anyone had any problems with ss braided break lines leaking? I have a buddy who is putting some on his s14 and he has gone through 2 bottles of break fluid. If any of you have had problems with this how did you fix it? thanks

haha everyone knows things break when you put break fluid in them. that's what it's for.

Exactly. Why do you think they're called break lines? Because they break. Now brake lines on the other hand seem to hold up fine.

If you don't get the nylon covered brake lines, there are possibilites that dirt gets trapped in the weve causing a puncture in the line. Either that, you don't have your BRAKE lines torqued down enough. Also, make sure you have a copper "O"-ring gasket above and below the banjo bolt..

Sorry for my misspelling, i thought something looked odd. Im not even sure exactly where the leak is coming from, he just called me and asked me to post a question about it because he was at work. He should chime in whenever he gets a chance

Just for the sake of making sure...are the brake lines the correct ones? Just so you're not putting front 240 caliper lines on a 300zx caliper.
