hitting rotors...this z brake swap isnt supposed to be this difficult, can i catcha break? any advice?

Why not put all these Z-Brake questions in Tech where they belong?

Based off this and the other thread you posted (rotor hitting caliper), it sounds like you may need a washer between the spindle and the mounting tabs on the caliper.

If you spaced the cliper back 1/16" or so, would the rotor clear...or at least sit in the center of the caliper?

Agreed. But it would be even better if he just made one thread.
