As always - comments, criticisms, etc welcome. For media this was a great event - although I heard that the spectators became a bit unruly due to some delays in the event and not enough "filler" entertainment for the crowd. Either way, enjoy the pix - and feel free to post them wherever you like so long there is a link back to my website.
If anyone is interested in high res, or wishes to contact me for additional use of these photos, feel free to email me at: friscomgm AT yahoo.com
Thanks guys!

Par for the course, Frisco comes in with stunning pics. I take it you're pretty satisfied with that 70-200 f2.8/L IS? I'm looking at lenses right now and can't figure out what I want. I'm definitely going to pic up a 50mm f1.8, but beyond that I'm not sure. I kinda want to get some L glass, but I know that'll be a bigger hit to the wallet than a few non-L zooms (like 28-135IS and 75-300IS).
Regarding the pic of the blue kouki front end, screw the color, the composition of that pic is HOT.

whats the point of having 2 small calipers instead of 1 big one? is it more stoping power? or is it something to do with heat?

but hey, what kind of bumper is that? is it a stock USDM bumper that's cut out w/ a greddy/trust lip?

mrmephistopheles:
the 70-200 2.8L IS is a godsend. Doesn't get any sharper when it comes to Canon zooms. I also tried it with the 1.4 extender and found that the autofocusing was too slow, so I'd like to get my hands on a 300 or 400 2.8 IS.
As for the 50 1.8 - I had one, used it for about 6 months and got the 50 1.4. Words cannot describe the difference. The 1.4 takes the cake!

I'd LOVE to get one of those 70-200 2.8L IS's but considering they cost more than my damned 20D, I can see it'll be awhile till I get one.

That concept originated from the Mclaren F1 street and race cars. I can only think that with a design such as that, it could minimize rotor warpage as well as steering problems when the brakes heat up. On a side note:considering Mclaren rotors are ceramic or compressed carbon fiber (street and race setups). It also allows a more spread area of heat to be generated, rather then a direct point of focus.
