Do you know of a place to put 3 gauges on a s14 that wouldn't look bad?
I am totally into perfect sleeper. I dont want people to see what I have before we race. So I was thinking under the cd-player in that little cubby-hole that nothing fits into. Anyone know of a better place?

Marks, old setup (http://www.zilvia.net/images/240turbo/exterior/062601/240tEx05.jpg) is pretty cool...in the glove box

Ehh.. thats ok. But the glovebox. Does it fold up? Anyway, I kinda use my glovebox. Thats why I mentioned the useless cubbyhole thing.
Anyway... does anyone make a gauge pod to fit into the a-pillar near the windshield on my left?

See. I wanna use that cubby hole thing. But...
Am I right that I will have to get a holding cluster...
Bah. I can probably make one at my old teacher's classroom.
If I do make one, I'll post it.

does anyone know where you can get so they go on the steering wheel (just behind the actal steering wheel, the part that doesnt twist). I have seen it before, let me see if I can find a pic of it.

take out the cigarette lighter and the ash tray and stick gauges there. I have a oil temp gauge in my cig lighter slot and it looks really nice.

If you can fabricate things out of plastic, then make a bracket for them that will mount inthe cubby, which is prolly the perfect size for 3 guages. I plan on using the CNC Router at work to cut out a precision peice for the cup holder thingy that is the shape of the hole with a circle in it to perfectly fit a can. If any one wants these let me know cuz I could prolly do it for like $5-$10 plus shipping.

Im thinking I will use a CNC mill to do the work. It should be decent. I just gotta talk with my old tech teacher, and then order the gauges, and then do some measuring. If they wont fit, I want them on the pillar.

S14 Auto Meter a-pillar dual #20806, single #20807, u can stack 3 singles. if u do put ur gauges in ur center console (yes, i'm pretty sure u can fit 3), Auto Meter makes slim angled mounting rings so u can angle the gauges a little towards you.

kid, never seen steering column pod for 240's, but dig deep on JDM sites.....ya never know! check out Auto Meter mounting cups, they're small pods u can mount anywhere, put one on each side

another idea is to use something like Auto Meter #15001 (Dodge Ram) triple dash pod on top center of ur dash. prob is u have to cut a hole in top of dash making this mod permanent , but it's a very clean looking pod. cuz these pods r plastic, they can be "trimmed" to conform to various shapes of the dash.

all can be seen at www.autometer.com (sounds like a commercial ). good luck!

I saw this one cavalier that was using the passenger airbag cover as the top of a pop-up guage cluster. It was a sweet setup. I think Im gonna try it on my S13 once shes back up running.

Blitz now makes gauges you can mount with suction cups. they look pretty sweet too. I saw them in last month super street I think. They are on short metal rods that you can pivot the gauge on. give you fairly flexible mounting options.

Yeah those new blitz gauges look sweet! I just wonder how well they stick. I wouldn't want them falling off my windows when I'm driving.

The glove box was cool, it did fold up too. But it kinda sucked when you wanted to watch your boost and your flooring it and trying to shift and drive and read gauges in the box. Kinda dangerous

run a small peice of vinel across the bottem on the outside of the windsheild creating a baner like style. Then starting at the bottem left corner of the inside windsheild lineing the guages across the windsheild right up tight to the windshild conecting it to the dash
now you cant see it from the out side and when you r keeping your eye on the road ahead they r right infront of you
