Very nice job, chimp. Looks great. Got any tips on how you cleaned it? Mine is horrible and could use a good cleaning...

elbow grease, and de-greaser, and a hose. and about 2-3 hours of labor. after done cleaning I used tire protectant on it.
be careful spraying water on the valve cover. I got water down around the #2-3 plugs. and it mage the car run real funny. I ended up replacing the plugs and wiping out any excess moisture in there. But I was spraying the engine with wreckless abandon too.

thanks for the compliments. I've still got some small stuff to clean up like the bottom and lower sides of the engine. I'm gonna wait to do that until I get the small Oil pan gasket leak fixed. (err thats gonna suck)

Black magic Tire wet. I wouldn't use it again though, b/c it's a bit to greasy and hard to work with.
I used purple power to clean it. make sure your engine is cold though. otherwise you'll have a weird white residue.

Yeah, make sure the engine's cold!
On a Celica, I've had the exhaust manifold warp & strip some bolts when it cooled down faster than the engine block.
