Aight...Guys, im asking for yoru oppinon...Daddy has a Lexo, momy has a dirtbag chevy minivan, and wants to replace it.

Any suggestions.
here's a few guidelines she wants.

-All Wheel Drive.
-Has to be an Import, no chevy ford domestic crap
-Sedan/sport sedan.
-Luxurious side of things.
-Has to be an Automatic, maybe triptonic (booooo)

thats pretty much it...i was thinking one of these maybe

-BMW 330 Xi AWD, Fully Loaded
-Audi A4 3.0L Quattro
-Mercedes-Benz C or Sclass, (not sure which yet.)
-Subaru WRX STi (when they come to amerika)

Anyone have any suggestions here? They would be appriecated...Thanx guys

subaru isnt the type of car i think your mom would like, at least interior wise. go with the a4 if u want AWD, or if u dont mind, get a C320 or 330i.

Too bad the 35 skyline isn't 4WD drive. The only 4WD skylines are GTR's and they don't come in Automatics(thank God), but its still a nice car to have. Oh, and the WRX don't come automatic either(what do expect, its a rally car). Does it have to be 4WD? Why not get a infiniti G20 or something like that.

Aside from there not really being any awd domestic cars in the class you speak of, what's wrong with domestics? Next person to pull this "Domestics are shit" shit is going to get a mouthful from me. Every manufacturer has made some crap, and most have made some great stuff. Generalizing that domestics are crap is naive and ignorant.

And, because I don't want to get this thread off topic, here's some advice :-) I haven't researched much into this category, luxury cars aren't my thing, but here's a bit of a take:

If you're looking luxurious, that pretty much cuts out the WRX. It's a decent car interiorwise, but nowhere near the others on your list. What she oughta do is take her list of cars, go to the dealership, and drive them. Test drives are what hooked many of us on the 240sx, and it's the only way to determine how you like a car.

If you go to toyota's web page they have the Matrix XRS model listed as 4WD with a 180Hp 1.8 liter engine as an option

umm i highly doubt your mom will want a wrx or a matrix or any other car like that. my mom drives a acura 3.5 rl and it is sweet. it is bigger than the bmw, audi, and mercedes, a little more luxo, but not awd. it is one sweet car though.

Aight guys, thanx for your help, i really appriecate it...
Junia, the ManualMatic thingy is called Triptonic.
and to the person who said whats wrong with domestics...Sorry, but no offence, no one in my family likes them, just my sister *shudder*
she wont go for a Matrix, i know that, and i showed her the Acura RL, she don't like it.
I'll look into the Audi S4 tho...
The ones she likes so far are the BMW 330Xi, and the A4 Quattro, i wasn't sure which benzo's were AWD, so i havn't looked into that yet...
ones i'll check out will prolly be the Infinity G35, s4, and Benz.

Thanx for the help guys

hey man, dont hate on Volvo! They are sweet cars! Thats one of the sugestions I was gona make to you. Look into the Volvo's (you might be suprised! Or the Audi. Bothe these companies have had a hard go of it, but have made alot of progress. Volvo's arn't ugly underpowered box's anymore, and Audi's have worked out a lot of the earlier electrical problems. If someone tells you about the "unintentional acceleration" thing about Audi's, its bull. Thats my $.02.
