alright.. i was installing my head and i was torquing down the bolts for the cam clamp (??) to 2 Nm and on 9 and 10 (first cam clamp on the left (looking at it from the front)) the bolts snapped. My CRAFTSMAN torque wrench didnt click when it was there! i thought it did on the first one, but when it did it to the second one, i took a second look and they are snapped right at the top of the opening on the head.
What can i do to get it out? thanks. :wtf:

Go get an easy out kit. Reverse drill bits are your friends.

they will work on a small bolt. you drill a hole and then hammer in the easy out. Then take a wrench and turn it out. You can find them at sears. Hopefully you used the bolts in the right place and didnt bottom them out.

Yeah I've snapped like 3 cam bolts already. What I did was just purchase an Easy Out, first drilled a small hole on top of the broken end, put on the easy out and just drilled it right out. Did you use a long torque wrench on the bolts, if so NEVER do that as it will also break. The cam bolts are crappy quality and always break. I just hand tighten as the FSM state to torque it down to about 8lbs i believe. So just hand tighten them with a small ratchet. HTH.
