i was just out there this weekend and i saw a total of 2 240s but i think nevada is more kick back with smogs and stuff like that

In certain counties/zip codes NDOT requires smogging your vehicle similar to how it's done in CA. Reno and Vegas are definitely on the list of smog-required, but there might be some outskirts of Vegas where you won't need to smog your car.... I lived in Northern nevada (Reno/Carson/Gardnerville) for a while and never had to smog my vehicles. It depends on the zip code you use when registering your vehicle.

I can't speak for the "police officer scene" there. I'm sure it's like most other places where if you're being a jackass and have ricey sounding exhaust and flashy car they'll pull you over.

At least there is no state income tax... If you're coming from CA that means you have 11% more cash to dump into your ride every year! :hsdance:

I live in vegas. In my limited experience with the cops, they are dicks. Dont worry about smog, a couple of bucks on the valve cover should get you through.
