Hey guys, I was just looking for some business I can do on the side. Mild body work, i.e. fixing dents, welding things shut, etc is available through me, at my house. I can't gurantee anything speedy, but it will get done.
Welding.. I'll be welding anything that's needed. Steel only, I dont have a co2 hookup for aluminum at the moment. Diffs, bars.. etc..
If you bring me your diff guts i can weld the spider gears together for you no problem. 50 bucks? Come give me a call or PM... 408 406 3289.

Im wondering about your welding skills since you mentioned co2 for aluminum, uh argon. What welder do you have?

co2 is reccomended for shielding by the manual... i have it written in black n white right here, haha. i've never done Alu before, but im open to suggestions and tips on it. If anyone is seriously interested, please call me at 408 406 3289, i'll see what i can do.. even if its just helping you guys out.
i've just been mainly doing mild steel and such. its an arc welder with variable feed and hookups for mig/tig applications.

alum is harder than ppl think. cant heat it up too fast cuz the aluminum will just dissaper but u dont want cold spots either. practice makes perfect

There you go again, arc welding and wire feed mig welding are two totally different types of welders. Im not sure if your welder is strong enough to penetrate the spider gears of an open differential, thats why im asking a bunch of questions about it.

I own an ARC, and a friend of mine owns a MIG. Yes there are DIFFERENCES , and there are different ways of WELDING. I currently know this and i have known this since i was a child. The ability for me to USE his MIG is necessary if i need to weld something that REQUIRES a MIG. Don't DOUBT my welding skills, just come drop off some shit and i'll weld it :)
