i always have friends selling 16's, 17's w/ rubber, soem stolen, some legit, some nice, some not...

mind you it's most often off a civic/interga, but are there any cars that use the same bolt pattern and offest as a 240sx, 4 lug...

this way if a deal comes my way i now right away if it'll fit my car or not...

also, i hear alot about offsets, could somebody give me an explanation as to what exactly this means, and why it is totally different from a fwd offset..

my buddy gave me the jist and it went right over my head

Well, if it has stayed the same, any Datsun Z car rims will fit your 240.  I have a set of the 6 spoke aluminums (6 actually) if you're interested.  Also, me and a friend found something interesting... the bolt patern is the same for the dodge Colt, Geo Metro (and all variations, suzuki, stc) and Nissan 4 bolt!  Unfortunatly, you can only go rwd to fwd.  By this I mean a RWD rim will go on a FWD car, but will stick out past the fneders.  A FWD rim may fit the bolt patern, but willl interfere with suspension and whatnot on a RWD car.  Basicaly, a FWD offset is almost flat (on the outer edge of the rim) wearas a RWD offset has the bolt holes/spokes in the middle or somewhere around there.  Think of a crossection of a rim...

FWD:

[ <-----------hole in center of rim

------

RWD:

Thats the best explanation I can come up with for now! lol <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Sorry, no pics... I will surf the net to see if I can find a pic though.. I'll get back to you. &nbsp;BTW: I had these rims on my 200sx and they looked good.. but they might look too small on a 240 (now that I think about it) they are only 14"X6" I think..
