around where i live theres been a lot of stuff happening. 2 of my friends car was stolen, one was stripped, and the other was burnt down and decks have been getting jacked everywhere. i woke up today at 445am kuz of my bros alarm and when i looked out the window there were 2 guys in my bros trunk. they jacked his deck, amp, and subs. so be on the look out for this shit. they looked about 5'6 - 5'8 they were driving a reddish old mini truck. so keep an eye out on your stuff.

it kinda sucked kuz when i took a drive around the block there were 3 cops patroling one side of our neighborhood and not mines. damn bastards....

yes. my friend from fremont recently got his stock looking civic jacked too. cops found it still burning. they stripped everything and his motor and tranny were gone.

then i would go back into my house and go back to sleep and when cops come and see them ill be like "wtf? holy shit....i dunno. i guess they were trying to jack my car. oh well too bad for them...I AM NOT LIABLE!"

A couple of monthes back I stepped outside and caught an asian dood in the act of trying to steal my rims. He had a partner waiting down the street in a blue or purple integ as a getway car.

I think I'm going to have to plant some razors in clever places in my car.

If your in and around this area, be on the look out for a large wangsta looking guy in a dark colored stratus(?) or something like that. he was on the corner of De Anza and Rainbow looking extremellllllllly suspiscious.

Okay guys...if your car gets broken into or jacked, call the friggin cops! Have them come out & take a report. While the cops are there, ask the responding officer if their department dusts for fingerprints on these types of incidents. If the officer says yes, then ask the officer what you need to do to get your car dusted for prints. Some agencies will come to your house & print your car, others will require you to go to the station, while others don't even bother at all. If the officer says No, we don't do that, then call the detectives the next day & ask the detectives the same question.
If the cops get a shitload of calls from the general public in a specific area about car burglaries and stolen vehicles, then the cops may start to take the investigations more seriously and assign detectives to investigate further. All you have to do is tell the cops/detectives, "Look..you might get lucky. You might get a fingerprint that ID's the idiot that's been causing all the problems in the neighborhood" Some cops/detectives might take you up on it & put in the extra effort.....

If they really want your car nothing is effective. They will come and tow it away. No alarm, starter kill, auto lock etc will prevent that... I've had my previous car broken into many times and tried just about everything. That is why I am still super paranoid and use over 5 different antitheft devices and only park in areas with lots of people, light and not many modified cars.

I had a new 2000 Civic Si... people would steal the stock parts! wheels, front lip spoiler, Si emblem, gauge cluster, seats and just about everything else because they'd go stick in in their DX or whatever. I lost 2 sets of wheels, the stereo and scratched up my paint in the process of breaking in and putting the car on milk crates.

Some people tried to steal the car at my work parking lot at 10am in the morning! One of my co-workers saw them and yelled at them and they ran off. In 5 min they'd already broken in, disabled the alarm, broke the steering column and were trying to hot wire it.

I was seriously going to get the Lojack but the solution in the end was to sell the car and lose the monthly payments and non-stop stress as well.
