THAT is a clean 240. Looks great, you gonna post any pics of the interior anytime soon? How many hours did it take you to strip the interior and prep for paint and put back together.

Your car looks great good luck!

The car wuz in the shop fer about 6 weeks, tons-o-body work, anyway, it did take a while to strip everythang off though, maybe like 8 hours total. But that's just to git it ready fer the body and prep work. I had it all put back together after paint and stuff in about the same amount of time.(not counting the two hours I spent re-sealing my tail lights the other night)

My friend owns the shop so he did all of the serious body work and paint, I just helped by doing the tedious stuff like striping the un-paintable parts, sanding the body and then replacing everythang.

A lota work but, I'm happy with it! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> &nbsp;I'll let ya know when I git interior pics posted.

Nice, looks like it has a lot of potential to be a real killer car...

nice looking Car(s).. i like how clean ur 240 is.. but ur other cars are nice too..you shoudl really lower ur 240. but i gotta repeat, nice car! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

Don't worry, the 240's gettin' low real soon! Maybe next month, had to have the house treated fer termites so that put a damper on my toy money. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> &nbsp;I hate that 4x4 gap between the tire and fender.

Hey, thar ain't nuthin wrong with those Chevy's! I got the engine (327) out of the '55 now cause I played a little too hard with it last summer and spun a rod bearing. On the HRPT I out ran an '00 Corvette, '01 SS Z28 and just about everythang else! It had about 340hp, not enough! When I rebuild it I'm hoping to have at least 450hp, which probably still won't be enough! If I decide to slap a blower on it then I should git around 550hp, but that's about $1500 more so we'll have to see.

Man, parts fer the 240 are waaaay cheaper than fer the old '55! Y'all just try building an old car and you'll see what I mean. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> I think that I've got less money in my 240, the whole car with mods, than I'll have just in the engine for the '55.
