O i was browsing enjuku's site and i was looking at stuff for my car and i came across a section called differitals."sp"It is suppose to act like a diff for the peps that don't have and lsd and make both tires spin on a burnout. It is made by phantom grip,Has anyone ever heard of them or know about their products.

ya I have heard of them . I personally would not spend $300 on a little rectangler metal setup that goes between my spider gears in my diff. to make them lock up like a LSD.
If you want limited slip do yourself the favor spend $300-$400 and get a real VLSD. I think it would be a much wiser way to go as well as being more reliable. If you really want a gear style LSD than go get a KAAZ or Qaife.
thats my two cents

Somebody on the Forum gets them a lot. &nbsp;Check out the LSD install section on 240sx.org. &nbsp; It is very helpfull.

You're better off with OEM, Kaaz, Nismo, or Quaife. &nbsp; That Phantom Grip LSD is bullshit. &nbsp;I've heard from practically everyone who's commented on them at the Honda boards about how much they suck ass and how they don't really do anything.

yup...the phonton lsd is weak shit...not only does it wear down and quick as a toe nail against cement its just a couple off from a good lsd lik kazza or quaife!

The factory one should be a simple bolt-on affair if you get the complete unit. &nbsp; With Kaaz and Quaife, you'll probably have to purchase seperate OEM parts from an LSD-equipped 240SX to install it on a non-LSD equipped 240SX.

hehehe <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> &nbsp;that would be me. Yes I have limited slips J30 and sometimes 240
$400-$425 for 240sx VLSD's and $300-$350 for J30 VLSD's they will bolt into your car.
drop me a line they are worth the money if you don't want to spend the money on a KAAZ , NIsmo or
Quaife'

the non abs ones are extremely rare all J30's came with abs and that means the only ones without abs would be the 240's and most people that ordered limited slips for their 240's ordered abs. Now I am not saying this is impossible . I actually use to own a 89 with VLSD and no abs,but that is pretty uncommon . just bite the bullet shortening your drive shaft costs about as much as finding a ABS driveshaft and finding abs driveshafts are hard because the guys in the yards do not mark them as such. They just put xx year 240sx &nbsp;on them.

So i will just have to get a new one and specify that i dont have abs cus i am base so i did not get abs i also got my car used so i did not even have that choice.but thanks for the info on the j30's i just wish our cars all came with abs and it would not be a big hassle but oh well there are ups and downs when it comes to everything now a days.
